• Format: US immigration photos use a square 2 x 2 inch (51 x 51 mm) print or a square digital file for the relevant online route.
• Diversity Visa uploads: Use a recent colour JPEG and follow the dimensions/file-size shown in the current DV entry system; reused or manipulated photographs can disqualify an entry.
• Pose: White or off-white background, full face to camera, neutral expression, both eyes open and no eyeglasses.
• No alteration: No filters, AI, retouching or changes to facial appearance.
